Plastic Free July... Where to start?

A quick, after work session to prepare you for Plastic Free July. Feel free to stick around for a chat after the event.

Going plastic free for a month... should be easy enough right? I don’t use that much plastic. I can bring my own containers shopping, and I already use my own bags. Then, we start having a little think about it... and the harsh reality sinks in.

Plastic is freakin EVERYWHERE!!

Going completely plastic free for a month is quite the task - every corner we turn, there it is. So it might help to think of this month as a bigger learning experience. Focus on eliminating the bigger impact stuff will help ward off feeling completely overwhelmed, and in time, the smaller things might also be addressed.

This workshop focusses on the easy ways to make a difference in your everyday lives. Environmental pollution can be tackled in the shopping aisle. With tips and tricks on how to live a life less plastic - we’ll cover shopping, food, cleaning and body care choices.
