Event description

Description

Join Michael Mills from Heaps Good Productions, and Botanic Gardens Education staff, who will take teachers on a journey through Adelaide Botanic Garden to investigate how plants played a vital role in the daily lives of the Ancient Egyptians.

The session will provide an understanding of the practices, beliefs, values and customs of this ancient society.

Those attending will learn how Adelaide Botanic Garden’s collections can be used to support your teaching of ancient civilisations as well as your students’ understandings of HASS and big picture concepts.

This professional development session is aligned with the Australian National Teaching Standards and a certificate of attendance will be issued.
