Event description
This online workshop will show you how to make your balcony courtyard or garden into an outdoor haven.

About this Event

Imagine an outdoor space that is cool in Canberra’s summer. Learn how to transform your courtyard, balcony or patio into a potted paradise.

Edwina Robinson from The Climate Factory wants to show you how you can create an outdoor area that’ll keep you cool throughout Canberra’s hot summers, and will thrive into our warmer, dryer climatic future. This online workshop will cover maintaining great soil for pots and selecting the right plants for your space. This session in suitable for people with smaller outdoor areas such as balconies and courtyards, and for people who are renting and cannot make permanent changes to their gardens.

This is an online course conducted over the videoconferencing platform Zoom. Register via Eventbrite to receive the meeting link.

This workshop is part of Sustainability at Home, our series of virtual events and online resources to inspire and inform anyone and everyone about living sustainably at home.
