About this event
About this event.
Join Greater Sydney Landcare's Creating Canopies team, Castle Hill Country Club and other volunteers for a day of tree planting ! Actually two days, this will be the second of the two that are planned. We're planting trees, shrubs and grasses to create valuable habitat for birds and other wildlife.
Green spaces aren't just great for urban ecosystems, they're also associated with better physical, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Now's your chance to get involved with greening this space in your neighbourhood.
Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes and a hat and sunscreen, and some drinking water. On-site training, tools, and refreshments will be provided.
RSVPs are essential to help us with catering. Please email us or cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
Instructions on parking and exact meeting point will be provided to those who have registered. You will need to arrange your own transportation to the site.
For insurance purposes you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 16 years of age.
