About this Event

Please join I.A Watson Grains Research Centre staff in conjunction with the Sydney Institute of Agriculture for our annual field day.

Australian Grain Technologies will be sponsoring a complimentary BBQ at the field demonstration site from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

Special guest speaker, Michael Klausen co-founder of Brasserie Bread and winner of the 2018 Royal Agricultural Society President's Medal will speak about grain quality that makes Champion sourdough bread.

We are pleased to announce the attendance of special guest Dr Steve Jefferies, Managing Director of GRDC.

There will also be displays from our various breeding programs, demonstrations of innovative weed control technologies and digital soil moisture monitoring.

Two new varieties will be released by AGT.

PLEASE NOTE: Entry will be via the Killarney Gap Road gateway with ample parking outside the boundary fence.
