Event description

Description

A dedicated volunteer program has been established across the Glenthorne precinct, so roll up your sleeves, lend a hand and help make a difference.

Come along to Marino Conservation Park and join the Glenthorne Action Team volunteers and the Friends of Marino Conservation Park to plant native species and learn basic Bushcare weed control techniques.

Morning tea and equipment will be provided.

Please bring:

  • a hat
  • sunscreen
  • bottle of water
  • gloves
  • a chair

and wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants and sturdy shoes.

This is a great chance to contribute towards the creation of Glenthorne, get to know people in the local community over a coffee and cake afterwards and build basic bushcare and rehabilitation skills.

For more information, please contact Jemma van den Bos on 8124 4060 or Jemma.Vandenbos@sa.gov.au

Parking is available on Nimboya Road.

Meeting point: Track in front of the shed which just inside the park entrance.
