Overview

Learn how to share your research effectively to audiences beyond academia.

This session introduces you to what it means to communicate your research more broadly, how to do it strategically, and what modes might be available to you (there are many!). You can choose what suits you and your research area best. In the session, we cover what planning a research communication strategy entails, how to develop a basic plan for your research communication, and familiarising yourself with a range of communication modes.

Facilitator: Dr Tseen Khoo is an Associate Professor, Researcher Development (EMCR), with the Researcher Development Academy, Deakin University. She researches in the field of critical university studies and has published on early career researcher experiences, digital academic identities, and racial diversity issues.
