Event description
Get ready for Startup Victoria's AgTech & Future Food Pitch Night this May! The event will be a hybrid in-person & live-streamed event.

About this event

Calling all AgTech & Future Food founders!

This month, we’re shining the startup spotlight on Victorian agricultural tech founders and food innovators with our AgTech & Future Food Pitch Night!

AgTech, sometimes known as AgriTech or agrotechnology, is usually digital technology that improves processes & outcomes across horticulture, agriculture and aquaculture from paddock to consumer. Consumers are increasingly demanding ethical and sustainable food and fibre products, and Victorian farmers contribute a whopping third of Australia’s total food and fibre exports. What’s more is the increasing pressures of climate change mean we need AgTech & future food solutions now more than ever. Examples include robotics, satellite imagery, sensors, food science, alternative food systems & products - as well as electronic identification and data systems.

4 finalists will be selected from the pool of applicants to pitch on the night to a room of industry professionals, fellow founders and an expert panel of judges. The winner will be the proud recipient of The Startup Vic Prize Package, full of business goodies for you and your startup!

To apply to pitch fill in this form by 16 May!
