Pillars of Light, a multicultural celebration of Chanukah, will light up Fed Square in a show of unity and hope as our city reopens.
About this event
Over the 8 day holiday of Chanukah, starting from Nov 28 until Dec 5, we will be bringing hope and light into Melbourne through an exceptional display of cross communal representation celebrating chanukah at Federation Square.

Bringing together people from a range of different backgrounds, cultures and faith communities over these eight nights, Pillars of Light hopes to create a greater sense of connection and belonging in the heart of the CBD.
Each evening will feature a tailored program highlighting the core precepts of connection and collaboration through guest speakers, dignitaries, artistic performers, cultural groups, sports personalities and more.
The JCCV First Nations Reconciliation Program, together with B’nei B’rith Victoria, The King David School and Stand Up, invite you to get active and walk together in step with First Nations to the Ark Centre’s Pillars of Light 8th Night Chanukah celebrations.
