Wine tasting glasses will be on sale at the Welcome Tent for $6 and $12. Please note that this is a cash-only event and there are no ATM facilities at the site.
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is extremely limited at the site and there is no public transportation in the area. We encourage all attendees to carpool or come by hired transport.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please do bring: picnic blankets, hats, sunscreen, children, a hearty appetite and cash. Please do not bring: your dog (service dogs excepted), food (exceptions for children and dietary restrictions) or alcohol (no exceptions).
May I bring my own tasting glass?
Certainly, but we would encourage you to purchase our specially branded tasting glasses ($6) or crystal Riedels ($12) at the Welcome Tent. They are a fabulous bargain, a wonderful souvenir and all profits on their sale go to the Cora Barclay Centre for deaf and hearing impaired children!
Is this a child-friendly event?
Absolutely. The grounds are large and you're encouraged to wander them at your leisure. We will have a face painter on hand and lots of yummy food, non-alcoholic drinks and boisterous music.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can contact us by emailing picnicatmarblehill@gmail.com.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please!
Is this a charity event?
Yes, it is! The organisation and management of this event is done on a volunteer basis and we donate all gate, glass-sale and raffle proceeds to the Cora Barclay Centre for deaf and hearing impaired children; parking proceeds go to the Basket Range Primary School; and proceeds from the gourmet sausage sizzle go to the Cherryville CFS.
