Pick your own Lavender Farm visit

Join us at Huon Valley Lavender Farm for a relaxed pick-your-own lavender experience, set on our family-run farm in the beautiful Huon Valley. This is a seasonal opportunity to wander through flowering lavender, harvest your own bunches, and enjoy time outdoors in a peaceful rural setting.

Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or with friends, this is a gentle, hands-on experience that celebrates the beauty of the lavender harvest.

Good to know

• Children under 5 years: Free entry
• Walking distance: Some walking is required to access the lavender rows (approximately ±100m)
• Session times: Tickets are valid for the specific date and time booked. Please arrive on time, as we may need to prepare the farm for the next session after your visit
• Ground conditions: This is a working paddock and some areas may be uneven or soft underfoot, especially after rain. Prams and mobility aids may find some sections bumpy. We recommend comfortable, sturdy footwear
• Weather: This is an outdoor, all-weather event (weather permitting). Please check the forecast and dress accordingly. Refunds are available for heavy rain showers
• Photography: Commercial or drone photography is not permitted during public visit sessions. For professional or commercial shoots, please contact us via our website
• Pets: For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, pets are not permitted at this time
• Respect the plants: Our lavender is both our livelihood and our pride. Please treat the plants with care, avoid stepping over rows, and only pick lavender during designated pick-your-own sessions
• Bees: Lavender attracts pollinators and we have beehives on the farm. Bees are generally gentle, but please be mindful where you step. If you have a bee allergy, bring any required medication

About us

Huon Valley Lavender Farm is a family-owned farm in Mountain River, Tasmania. We grow and distil lavender using organic and regenerative practices, producing small-batch lavender oil and natural products right here on the farm.

Lavender blooms for a short time each year, and once the season ends, the experience closes.
