Description

Run by photograher Alison Pouliot, this one day workshop will teach you how to use photopoint monitoring as an effective tool to monitor changes in your local waterway over time.

This is a highly interactive workshop with theoretical and practical components to assist participants in developing technical and creative skills in photographing a range of environmental themes, including photopoint monitoring.

Participants are advised the following:

- the field trip will involve a maximum 2 km field walk on the day

- please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for field walk (ie: long pants, sturdy boots) and weather conditions

- catering will be provided, please advise of any dietary requirements. BYO drink bottle.

- maximum 15 participants, who must be active current Melbourne Water Waterwatch monitors

- please bring a camera, batteries/charger, instruction book and tripod (if you have one). Any type of camera is fine.

Please note, in the event of Total Fire Ban or Extreme/Code Red fire rating, this event may be cancelled, relocated or rescheduled. All participants will be notified the day before the event.
