Phase 3 Code Consultation - Community Information Sessions (St Clair)
Event Information
About this Event
Summary:
The community information session will provide you with an overview of the key components of the new planning system, key changes to the revised draft Phase Three Planning and Design Code (Phase Three Code) and the process for providing your feedback.
Description:
From time to time, the planning and development system is amended to improve the way it works in South Australia.
An initial five-month period of public consultation on the draft Phase Three Code (October 2019 to February 2020) resulted in over 2000 submissions. In response, significant improvements have been made to the Code, including the addition of new overlays and zones to better reflect local conditions and address areas of community interest. By having your say, you can influence the way we plan and build under the new planning system.
South Australians have a further opportunity to provide feedback on the revised draft Phase Three Code from 4 November 2020 to 18 December 2020.
This community information session will provide you with a face to face opportunity to better understand the changes proposed to the revised draft Phase Three Code and discuss any areas of concern with a Code policy expert.
More information on the new planning system is available at www.plan.sa.gov.au
Who should attend?
Anyone in the community with an interest in learning about the changes to the revised draft Phase Three Code and the process for making a submission. Please ensure you bring your registration ticket with you.
