About this Event

We regret to announce that due to current risks regarding attendee health and safety the Pests of eucalypts workshop at the Australian National Botanic Gardens on the 23rd March will be CANCELLED.

While the decision wasn’t an easy one, we felt a cancellation of this workshop was the best course of action. I would like to thank you for interest in the workshop.

For National Eucalypt Day 2020 join us for an interactive workshop on exotic pests of eucalypts and plant biosecurity at the Australian National Botanic Gardens.

Plant biosecurity plays an important role in protecting the health of plants, including eucalypts, in botanic gardens, the natural environment and agricultural settings. By participating in this workshop you can get involved in plant biosecurity and surveillance for plant pests.

The workshop will include several presentations by experts with a focus on exotic pests of eucalypts and biosecurity. Following the presentations we will head out into the gardens to undertake field surveillance for pests of eucalypts.

This event is being coordinated by the Botanic Gardens Biosecurity Network which was established by Plant Health Australia.
