Reconnect with the still places within us all. Come join weekly meditation classes with senior teacher Sandra Henville at YogaOm in Mt Lawley. Meet new friends and learn meditation with easy to follow techniques based on nearly 20 years of Insight and Mindfulness Meditation Practices.

*How to find us!*

We are located in the heart of Mount Lawley, at 3/147 Walcott Street, corner of Walcott and William Street in the small shopping precinct. I have posted some photos to help you on the Facebook page.

Step 1 - Look for the Yoga Om sign - we are right behind Bridal Shop and the Laundrette, you need to walk around the back...

Step 2 - Use the small gate to the right of the Laundrette to walk down the lane to the studio or drive your car around the back by going down the lane between the Wardrobe and the Radiologists.

Step 3 - You will see the light on at the studio and we will be waiting for you 🙂

What to expect?

Sandra will lead the group through a 45 min guided practice. You may sit on a bolster or on a chair - whatever is most kind and compassionate for you in this moment. You may even lay down. We have loads of stuff to make you comfy!

The teachings will be a mixture of styles depending on what the group feels they need on the night. We will use techniques such as breathe and body awareness, mindfulness, samatha/concentration, vipassana/insight, metta/loving kindness along with more yogic practices such as chakras and nidras. All of these styles and techniques help you come to your own place of stillness - letting go of all that no longer serves us and seeing things as they are.

Following the meditation we usually share a pot of tea where you can enjoy the fellowship of new and old friends.

*What to bring?*

You only need to bring yourself and leave your shoes at the door. If you have a favourite cushion or stool - bring them along!


There is a suggested $10 donation to cover studio hire with the balance going to worthy causes. Feel free to turn up on the night with cash or if you prefer, register and pay online through the website or MindBody App - $11).
