PERTH - Centre for Aboriginal Studies: Admission Workshop

REGISTER NOW TO ATTEND THE PERTH ADMISSION WORKSHOP
The Centre for Aboriginal Studies at Curtin University are inviting prospective students to attend one of their admissions workshops, being held in Perth on November 7th, 2016. At this workshop, prospective students will sit an admissions test and have the opportunity to talk to staff members about courses, support services and pathways available at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies.
Through the block study mode, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are able to obtain their degree by attending the university four times a year and participating in intensive study blocks.
The block release program allows students to maintain the balance of career, study and family life to further their education. Students undertake a common first year before selecting a major in:
• Indigenous Community Management and Development
• Indigenous Community Health
• Indigenous Mental Health
Should you choose to apply for the above courses at the Centre for Aborignal Studies and do not reside within 100km of the Perth metro area, the following will be provided to you as a student;
• Travel will be provided from your closest majort airport travelling to Perth.
• Shared accommodation at self-contained apartments in Perth.
• Meal Allowance.
Centre for Aboriginal Studies encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent who are interested in pursuing higher education to attend.
