Following on from Erin Turner's excellent workshop applying psychology to UX research, Catherine Ryan will be jetting up from Melbourne to share how we can apply psychology to the actual design. This workshop is complementary to Erin's and will be pitched to the mid Senior UXer. That said, juniors will still get something out of it but should be ready for a challenge!

Why do we do what we do?

This workshop is about understanding the way humans operate - what influences our behaviour and decisions, and how to use this knowledge in designing human experiences.

We’ll be taking a dive into the realms of psychology and NLP to understand why people think, feel, say and do as they do.

In this workshop you’ll be learning about

- the cognitive biases that motivate humans

- the perceptual filters that drive thoughts, feelings and behaviours

- verbal and non-verbal communication to more effectively connect with people

- building trust and nudging people into action and behavioural change

This is for you if you’re interested in understanding and creating change in the thinking, feeling and doing of your customers.

We understand that things change so a full refund is available until 1 week before event. A 50% refund is available between a week and 2 days before the event. 2 days or less notice will forfeit the ticket price. Tickets ARE transferable so if you can't make it, let us know who you'd like to transfer it to and that's fine!
