About this event

Join STAY SAFE Australia to learn about the many aspects of safety, including in relationships, out and about and in your home.

This women’s only workshop is based on the three Tenets of Personal Safety:

• Detect - Awareness skills, self-growth, fear management and confidence training;

• Defuse - Negotiation Skills, body language, talk language, decision time; and

• Defend - You have no other choice but to respond for your own safety.

Organiser of Personal Safety as a Woman

The new City of Canterbury Bankstown was announced by the NSW Government on 12 May 2016.  The City of Canterbury Bankstown replaces the Bankstown and Canterbury Councils, and becomes the largest Council in NSW with 350,000 residents.

Council provides a number of arts, cultural, leisure, educational and recreational facilities and services for our community. These include:
