Person Centred Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
The Hawkesbury-Nepean Valley Flood Risk Management Directorate, Infrastructure NSW is partnering with the University of Sydney to deliver targeted training for disability, aged care and community service providers that support people in their own homes in this region.
People living with a disability, chronic illness or additional needs in their own homes are particularly vulnerable and have specific needs in a natural disaster.
This valuable training assists services with effective disaster preparation planning, not just for flood events, but for any disaster. It is valuable training for any services, and support workers, that support people in their own homes.
