About this event
This workshop is designed for palliative care specialist staff who wish to mentor, and share their palliative care knowledge with others and further develop their own:-
• Culturally Responsive mentoring practices
• Communication Skills
• Feedback Skills
• Reflective Skills
• Ability to discover / develop talent and skills in others that comes from a positive mentoring relationship
Facilitator: Sue Cosgrove
Sue has a background in Nursing – primarily in clinical education, teaching and management positions. Sue holds qualifications in nursing inclusive of a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (MANP) as well as qualifications in Vocational Education and Training. Sue is a Leadership Coach, Life Coach as well as Health and Wellness Coach and has completed recent qualifications in Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring with the QUT Business School which complements her previous coaching experience with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Sue believes that the “soft skills” required to create exceptional teams can be found in mentoring and coaching people to achieve more from the people they are being and the work they are doing.
Target Audience: Health Professionals who practise the Palliative Approach to care when caring for patients and families
