People Manager Masterclass 2 - Prioritising De-escalation

The People Manager Masterclasses are designed to amplify people manager capability uplift across NSW government by addressing the people manager areas of Manage and Develop people, Lead through change, and Plan and organise resources.

This 90-minute interactive masterclass focuses on the neuroscience of de-escalation to help develop skills to reduce emotions that lead to workplace conflict.

In this session, we explore:

• What is de-escalation and why does it matter now?
• The science of de-escalation
• The habits of de-escalation
