Pirate Scavenger Hunt

TEAMS: 2 - 7 PEOPLE

COST: $25 PER CAR

Each team will be issued with a clue sheet at the starting line, which will take them on a treasure hunt across the Mornington Peninsula in their car. Teams will collect answers to clues which will earn them points when they reach the finish line.

Family teams encouraged.

Prizes for winning teams.

STARTS AT: MONASH UNIVERSITY, MCMAHONS ROAD, FRANKSTON (lower carpark near the train line)

FINISHES AT: A SECRET LOCATION (NO MORE THAN 15 MINS FROM FRANKSTON)

BYO PICNIC LUNCH TO EAT AT THE FINISH LINE

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but the driver needs to be fully licensed, insured and 0.0 at all times
What do I bring into the event?
Energy, enthusiasm, ability to laugh at yourself and the silliest of situations you may find yourself in
Also - picnic lunch (BBQ's will be available), seats, rugs, etc
How many cars / tickets can I book?
As many as you can pay for!
We will have to limit the number of cars to 30 due to safety issues. We had a fantastic turn out last year, and expecting more cars this year.
OMG - What Am I Going To Wear?
Comfortable casual clothes and shoes appropriate to the weather.
There is a fair bit of getting in & out of the car, participating in embarassing and awkward physical activities, so dress for comfort not style. Or a pirates costume. Your choice.
Am I covered by Rotary Insurance?
No.
This is a private event being held by members of the community for a bit of fun, all money collected will be donated to Rotary Peninsula 2.0. Please insure your vehicle is insured and roadworthy.
The organisers take great care to reduce risk and develop a course that is fun and safe. We ask all participants to immerse yourselves in the adventure, but play safe and make it to the end unharmed.
What's the refund policy?
In the spirit of the event - no refunds will be issued if you don't turn up on the day
Cancellations 2 days prior to the event will be refunded by cheque at the next meeting, or as arranged
Can I dress up?
Sure! We encourage bad impersonations, general hilarity and the occasional Sea Shanty.
