For music teachers, musicians and advanced students

TIME: 9 am to 3 pm
DAY: Thursday 25 January
COST: $75 or $65 for AUSTA, WAM, WAMTA members
VENUE: Theo’s Music - 4 Southport Street, West Leederville

Learn how to go electric on your violin. Includes practical instruction and experience in every aspect of going electric.

If you don't have an electric violin yet, come along anyway and use one of ours, If you already have an electric violin, viola or cello, come along and find out how to get the fabulous sounds and clarity from your instrument that you have dreamed of, and how to use all the gear.

Discover how to use an electric violin, what the different FX pedals do and how to use them, and a practical understanding of the range of amps and PAs.

This workshop allows violin, viola and cello players to have the first hand experience and know-how to play on electric instruments in classical, rock, blues, pop and folk/world music solo or in bands.

Also available is expert consultation and guidance to purchase appropriate instruments, amps and FX if you don't already have them.
