**NOTE: while we are crossing our paws that the restrictions will ease and we are able to have large gatherings outdoors, we will be monitoring the restrictions closely in the lead up to the picnic.

DATE & TIME - The Paw Pals Picnic will be held on Saturday, 11 September, at Brimbank Park playground Car Park B. It will run from 11 am to approximately 2 pm. Note: Please arrive at 10.45 am to check in at the Paw Pals table and settle your pup.

TO GET THERE - Enter from Keilor Park Drive onto Brimbank Road , then go about 2 kms down the road and turn left onto Park Drive . Car Park B will be on the right. Look out for the yellow Vision Australia banner.

ACTIVITIES - We will commence with a group introduction for you and your pup and then a group walk for our puppies/dogs in coat.

WHAT TO BRING - Bring your dog’s Seeing Eye Dogs coat and your Seeing Eye Dogs lanyard with your name on it. Make sure you have poo bags, lots of treats and any walking equipment they use. You may want to bring some high value treats with approval from your PDT to assist their focus in this more stimulating environment and around the other pups.

LUNCH - On the return from our walk, we will have a group photo and then lunch. (In theory, the dogs should be exhausted!) We are asking everyone to BYO their own picnic lunch including plates and cutlery. There may be limited seating if we do not get the shelters , so please bring your chairs or picnic rug.

WE WILL PROVIDE - some individual snack packs of chips and biscuits, as well as, cans of soft drinks and bottles of water. A container of drinking water will also be available to refill your drink bottles.

TICKETS - Due to COVID requirements, we must provide an attendee list to Seeing Eye Dogs, therefore, you must reserve a ticket for each person attending , this includes the puppy carer and their guests.

**REMINDER – if you registered for tickets for the 19 June picnic, you do not need to register again.

Please obtain your tickets by September 9, 2021

If you have any questions, please email or call the Paw Pals organiser, Eileen Zimmerman on 0408 172 746.
