Patternmaking - Fitted Bodice

In our patternmaking workshops participants will learn the basic methods of patternmaking for fashion from a block to a sample garment. A block pattern (industrial production) is a custom-fitted, basic pattern from which patterns for many different styles can be developed. The process of changing the size of a finished pattern is called grading.

The Block Projects:

  • Fitted bodice and sleeve

  • Pant

Patternmaking workshops will be offered over 3 weeks x 3hrs each workshop per garment.
