Event description

Description

Are you a nursing or allied health clinician with an interest in research? Some clinicians are curious about getting involved in research but are not sure where to start or even what it entails. Whether you want to be a coordinator of a research project or have an idea about conducting your own study, this session will appeal.

As part of Research Week, we bring you "Pathways to Research" - journeys experienced by three members of our nursing and allied health team. Each presenter will describe their research journey - identifying their hurdles, successes and support networks. Time is allowed for Q&A at the end of the session where attendees are invited to ask the presenters questions.

Presenters
Mr Sean Hosking, Epilepsy Research Coordinator, RMH; President, Victorian Association of Research Nurses (VARN)
Ms Rebecca Bullock, Creating Safety Nurse, NorthWestern Mental Health
Dr Catherine Granger, Physiotherapy Research Lead, RMH

Room Venue
Lovell Lecture Theatre, Clinical School, Ground Floor, The Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus (enter via the Function Centre, RMH)
