Learn how to make pasta from scratch with a real Italian!

About this Event

Do you love Italian food? Are you curious to learn the secret art of pasta making - and prepare your own healthy and affordable pasta dishes during these times of social isolation?

Then join us online for a unique live workshop. Pietro Visconti, a Pasta Maestro and entertainer from Italy, will welcome you in his home kitchen in Milan. Pietro will teach you the secrets and techniques of making Italian pasta, guiding each of you step-by-step in the art of traditional handmade pasta. Follow him on Instagram to see the magic he will help you to create!

Pietro will help you to get to know each other, share laughs and stories while learning something authentic and fun - Italian pasta!

To make the most out of this workshop, Pietro recommends that you buy the ingredients using the shopping list below, and participate actively in your own kitchen*. No experience or fancy equipment necessary - just a curiosity to learn and have fun!

After the workshop, you can stay online to enjoy a virtual dinner and connect with other students from across the University community.

In partnership with the USU, you have the option to order an exculsive grocery box with all the ingredients you need for the workshop. Prepay only with contactless pick up available from Holme Building or delivery to your student acomodation on main campus. Click here to order your USU & STAR Team Pasta Box by Monday 4 May at 5pm.

Hosted by the STAR (Student Transition and Retention) and proudly sponsored by Allianz Global Assistance. This event is open to current students from the University of Sydney.
