Description

Partnering to ensure better outcomes for people with disability: a CHIA Exchange and NDS Accommodation sub-committee Roundtable

CHIA NSW and NDS are partnering to deliver a roundtable event, which will bring community housing providers and Supported Independent Living providers together for a day of discussion and reflection on what it means to partner well in delivering Specialist Disability Accommodation. Facilitated by Mike Allen, attendees will unpack the key challenges for both sides and how can we work together to deliver the best possible outcomes for people with disability?

This one day event will be an chance for focused practical discussion, with a view to identifying the key advocacy priorities for CHIA NSW and NDS moving forward. This is particularly timely with the new Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services creating a new space for us to prosecute new and existing issues for CHPs and SILs partnering together to deliver SDA.
