Event Details

Partnerships, alliances, service integration and other approaches to services alignment are becoming increasingly common in public sector environments.

Successful partnering requires careful alignment of the 'partnering' members - ensuring their values, purposes, capabilities and capacities can support each other. Development of successful partnering is supported by formal tools including: partnering agreements, memorandums of understanding, clear roles and practical systems.

Successful partnering also requires consistent participation, exceptional interpersonal skills, a good knowledge of the member organisation’s work and robust organisational cultures.

This workshop will describe a partnering capability framework, the criteria for success and practical tools and processes that support successful partnership
