Celebrate World Environment Day on 5 June by going on a guided Bush Tucker Trek.

World Environment Day falls on 5 June each year, and this year to celebrate we are hosting a guided Bush Tucker Trek. On this relaxed walk along a beautiful stream, you will be introduced to a variety of native plants that sustained the traditional Aboriginal custodians of this area, the Darug people.
Learn about the many food and medicinal plants that grow in your local bushland and discover some of the other resourced provided by our beautiful trees and shrubs.
Suitable for adults (content will not be targeted to children)
- Meeting point will be confirmed closer to event date
- Enrolments are compulsory for both children and adults. Please bring your tickets to the event
- Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times, but content will not be targeted to children.
- Wear closed-in comfortable, sturdy shoes (not sandals) & weather appropriate clothing. Facemasks are encouraged at this time.
- Please bring enough drinking water per person, and a snack if you wish (no nuts please).
- In the event of wet weather, significant winds or total fire ban days, or Covid notifications, this event may be cancelled. Please provide best method of contact with your registration details
COVID SAFETY INFORMATION:
This is a Covid-safe event and all adults and children must be registered to attend and hold a valid ticket. Numbers will be limited to allow for adequate social distancing throughout the event.
As this is an outdoor event, face masks are not compulsory. However, MASKS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for any adults attending. The use of hand sanitiser is also encouraged.
