About this Event

The Parliament of Youth on sustainability is running in 2020!

Parliament of Youth gives ACT teachers the great opportunity to empower their students, from kindergarten to year 12, to learn about local environmental issues and have their say about how to make Canberra and the region more sustainable.

If you're a primary school, high school or college teacher and interested in incorporating sustainability into your classroom, then the Parliament of Youth is for you!

Come along to a FREE Professional Learning Teacher Information Session and Workshop to find out:

- What is Parliament of Youth and what’s involved?

- Key sustainability concepts, challenges and opportunities in the ACT

- Teacher resources and how to incorporate the Parliament into your teaching

- How past teachers adapted Parliament of Youth into their teaching

There will be a Teacher Information Session & Workshop run on Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th February, from 4-6pm. You only need to attend ONE!

Register above for the TUESDAY 11th Feb!

Register for the THURSDAY 13th Feb here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/parliament-of-youth-2020-teacher-information-session-workshop-tuesday-tickets-79085409589
