Parliament of Animals
Overview
What would a flying fox, a shorebird, an endangered moth and a crayfish say, if they had a meeting with humans, to discuss their needs and the humans' development plans? We are keen to find out and need your help!
In this special 2-part workshop, author and educator Dr Sarah Pye will take young environmental leaders on a journey of civics and decision making - beyond the human world. Participants will investigate a hypothetical issue then get into character, make costumes, discuss and debate, and ultimately decide through a 'parliament of animals'.
This workshop will be fun and informative, and requires attendance for both:
- Part 1 on Tuesday 13th January
- part 2 on Tuesday 20th January
Suitable for ages 10 - 15yrs.
