This forum will aim to increase knowledge and information about alcohol use among secondary schools students and the risk of harms as well as provide information about the role of parents, and community members in reducing harms. Strategies and useful resources will be provided on the night to assist parents, teachers and schools.
This event is for parents, guardians, carers and teachers of secondary school students.
This informative and engaging session will involve a 40-minute presentation by expert drug and alcohol trainer, Annie Bleeker, followed by an open forum for questions.
There are four events being repeated on different dates and in different locations:
Tuesday 11th October: UC High School Kaleen, Kaleen (Baldwin Crescent, Kaleen, 2617)

Tuesday 15th November: Canberra Grammar School, Red Hill (15 Alexander Street, Red Hill, 2603)
Wednesday 16th November: Emmaus Christian School, Dickson (73 Davenport Street, Dickson, 2502)
This event is being presented by the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Association of the ACT (ATODA) with the support of ACT Health and in partnership with the ACT Council of Parents and Citizens Association, the Association of Independent Schools of the ACT (AISACT) and the Association of Parents and Friends of ACT Schools (APFACTS).
