A free cyber safety session for adults/parents to learn how to help their children navigate growing up online

About this Event

Being safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing children these days. We are delighted to be able to offer this free CyberSafety session with Susan McLean. Susan is Australia's leading Cyber Safety expert, as a mum, technology expert and former policewoman she has a vast knowledge to share. Our School is incredibly fortunate to have her deliver this session as outlined below

This 'Growing up Online' session will cover the following topics

*Online grooming

*Cyberbullying

*Sharing nudes & sexting

*Potential dangers & safety tips

*Problematic internet use & gaming issues

This session is suitable for parents, grandparents or anyone looking for ideas on how to stay safe online. It will inform, confront and hopefully empower you to be more vigilant regarding your child's online activity.

This session is open to the public, not just Warragul North Primary School families, this information is too important not to share.

The session will run from 7-8.45pm and is not suitable for children. It will be held in the BER Building at Warragul North Primary School
