Event description

Description

This workshop will be presented by experienced peadiatric Occupational Therapist Jasmine Allanson, founder of Inspire Abilty.

The worshop will be beneficial for parents and carers who may be stuggling to understand Sensory Porcessing Disorder (SPD), how it is impacting their child and how best to help their child navigate their journey with SPD.

This practical workshop will help you to walk away with the following answers:

- Why is SPD? How is it categorised and what does this mean for my child?

- How do I differentiate between sensory meltdowns and tantrums? And how do I manage a meltdown?

- What are some practical and relevant tips for living with SPD at home and when out and about?

- What does the current research have to say about SPD?

Come with your questions! There will be time for chatting with Jasmine as well as other parents. A room full of knowledge, understanding and support.

Tea and coffee will be provided.
