Event description

Description

*Please note this workshop is open only to participants who have attended Build IT Up's past soldering-based workshops*

City of Darwin Library and Build IT Up are proud to present to you the Parent and Child Technology Time workshops in the Northern Territory. We will provide the space and platform to tinker with technology. Your enthusiasm and energy is very welcome!

No skills in technology needed. However, soldering experience is required. This workshop is only open to a single parent / guardian and a child. Children must be aged between 11-15 years. Equipment will not be available to multiple children. Pre-registration is mandatory.

Different projects are available for selection. Projects demonstrate applications from real life like buzzers, lights, displays and sensors. Participants build their own projects and enhance their knowledge of electric circuits, tools and components.

Our Facebook page and Youtube videos have more information on past workshops and project videos. For more information, email us at: BuildITUpAu@gmail.com or call 0452132749.
