Event description

Description

In a world that never stops moving and glorifies being busy, how much time do we really think about our own health, wellbeing and state of mind?

Mental health is a big deal. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 45% of Australians experience mental health stresses and estimate that 1 in 2 Australians will experience a mental health condition at some point in their lifetime. It costs Australian employers up to $10.6 BILLION because of the impacts of mental health stresses experienced by their employees. The cost of mental health is enormous at all levels of society - to individuals, to families, to communities, and to employers. Everyone stands to benefit when we improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

So, how can we innovate in the space of mental health and wellbeing, to achieve better outcomes?

On October 2, Stone & Chalk is bringing to the table some incredible examples of how mental health stresses can be better supported in the workplace. We've invited guest speakers to talk about how they innovate for the wellbeing for their own staff, for the wellbeing of their customers and discussing how innovation can make wellbeing an integral aspect of their company strategy.

You'll be hearing from:

Moderator:

  • Joel Ramirez, Chief Alliances Officer at Wiise.com and research/author on Mental Health
