Patrick Albina

Founder & Director, Quintessential Consulting

Patrick Albina is the Founder and Director of Quintessential Consulting and an Executive Coach at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Graduate Business School. With over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning Defence, Government, aerospace engineering, international development and community organisations, Patrick specialises in strengthening leadership capability, enhancing strategic decision-making and building organisational resilience in complex environments. His facilitation and coaching approach integrates systems thinking, human-centred design and behavioural science to help leaders expand their mental models, build cognitive agility and make better decisions.

Patrick's executive coaching portfolio includes work with senior executives, emerging leaders, teams and boards across Federal and State Government agencies, Defence, corporates and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.

An experienced company director and long-standing board chair, he brings a governance lens to leadership development, helping leaders understand stewardship, accountability and strategic alignment. His unique background, from aerospace engineering in the Royal Australian Air Force to global roles with Airbus, Eurocopter and Boeing, combined with his expertise in navigating organisational complexity, enables Patrick to offer practical insights on how leadership can be leveraged to drive productivity and performance.
