Description
Palliative Care WA Forum Series: WA End of Life Choices Parliamentary Committee Report
Forum Three - Voluntary Assisted Dying
The WA Parliament’s Joint Select Committee on End of Life Choices released their report on 23 August and PCWA hosted a special forum on 28 August to discuss the interim findings and recommendations. EOL Report focused on three key areas of care at end of life – advance care planning, palliative care services, and voluntary assisted dying.
Palliative Care WA and Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) are holding a series of three forums to explore the findings and recommendations in detail and identify sector priorities for presentation to the WA Government. This forum will focus on report's recommendations 19-24 on voluntary assisted dying.
