About this event

Mick Namarari Tjapaltjarri was the first Western Desert artist to win the prestigious national Red Ochre Award. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Papunya Tula Artists and the beginning of Namarari's art career, Alec O'Halloran will discuss the artist’s extraordinary life and why he was propelled to research and write Namarari's authorised biography, The master from Marnpi.
