LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE

This free art workshop is part of Summer Art Workshop Series organised by the 'Love Where You Live' working group for Carrum Downs, Skye & Sandhurst; a group made up of local residents and Frankston City Council staff from the Community Development team.

This is one of four art workshops happening in December 2019 and January 2020. Our working group have used our project budget to program these workshops to offer the local community some fun opportunities to learn a new skill in a relaxed social setting and make some new connections with local people

• Venue: Sandhurst Club
• Bookings: 20 spots available, adults (16+)
• Cost: Free - Light catering, tea and coffee included.

This session allows you to expand your awareness of self and delight the senses with music and paint. It will start with a activity to bring everyone into the space of the now. Then music is played while people express what they are feeling and hearing on a canvas with paint. Splashing, dripping, making marks and flow to the movement of sound is what generally evolves. And the session is finished with a show and tell.

This session is about exploring and expressing thoughts emotions and what ever comes up, not about a product, however an Art work is often created to the amazement of the participants.

Participants will walk away with a few works of art.
