Painted Dolls School Holidays Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
Throughout history, in all cultures, dolls have been part of childhood.
Made from basic twigs and rags to fine china and plastics, dolls reflect our dreams and reality back to us. In this activity we connect past, present and the stories we tell ourselves.
Complimenting the museum’s current exhibition 'When We Were Small', this doll painting session promises you a pocket-sized friend forever.
The museum staff will explore the history of dolls before delivering a craft-based step by step process from design to decorating your very own tiny painted doll to take home.
Suitable for ages 8 - 15 years.
$5 per participant.
