Pageturners December Evening Book Discussion

For the final Evening Pageturners meeting of the year, we will be talking about The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah at 5.30pm.

We will also be doing our usual book exchange. Please bring along a book - you can part with - to share with another Pageturner. It will be a "Kris Kringle" where the books will be wrapped in brown paper and exchanged. Thank you.

Despite their differences, sisters Viann and Isabelle have always been close. Younger, bolder Isabelle lives in Paris while Viann is content with life in the French countryside with her husband Antoine and their daughter. But when the Second World War strikes, Antoine is sent off to fight and Viann finds herself isolated so Isabelle is sent by their father to help her.
