Pacific Epping’s Festival of Foodies is set to send sweet and savoury tooth’s to foodie heaven this year, with a line-up too delicious to resist.
Taking place over 25-26 February, the Festival will this year include a new bustling dessert market, featuring some of the city’s favourite dessert trucks, including The Brulee Cart, Bearded Bakers, Dr Donut and Yogurt Culture, along with a series of live cooking demonstrations, wine and cheese pairing, family activities - all to the sounds of live acoustic music.
Headlining the cooking demonstrations on Saturday 25th will be MKR alumni and Greek restaurant owners Helena and Vikki Moursellas, who will be sharing their favourite family recipes, giving visitors the chance to experience firsthand what it’s like to eat at their family table.
The newly introduced Dessert Market will feature not only Melbourne’s favourite dessert trucks, but also popular North-West favourite Burgies Shakes, plus a limited edition dessert from award-winning burger joint*, Laurie Dees.
Commissioned specially for the Festival of Foodies, Laurie Dee founder Lawrence Di Tomasso will be treating Festival visitors to a ‘limited edition’ Frozen Custard dessert called ‘The Concrete Jungle’, made with Vanilla custard, warm caramel fudge, toasted pecans, honeycomb pieces & coconut flakes.
