We are at a crossroads. Humanity cannot continue down the same path as we collectively face the ever-growing crisis of inequality, climate change and environmental destruction. The Covid-19 pandemic has laid bare entrenched inequalities at social, health and economic levels with billions of people not having adequate healthcare or social protections systems.
These crises require transformative action towards a new world free of discrimination and oppression and based on a new eco-social contract, driven by collaboration, sustainability, and recognition of the interconnectedness of all life in our ecosystem. These themes reflect World Social Work Day 2022 and the People´s Summit https://newecosocialworld.com/ 29th June to the 2nd July.

Outrage! will also launch the second edition of the RMIT Partnerships book, Partnerships with the Community: Social Work Field Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This is a culmination of a project undertaken between RMIT Social Work Field Education and their placement industry partners.
Light refreshments will follow.
