Outdoor Cinema Mosman - Project Wild Thing & LIVIN-Sponsored by URM
Thu. 27 October 2016, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm AEDT
Reconnecting kids to nature assists in child development and supports mental health.
For Mental Health Month, Mosman Council is presenting the documentary Project Wild Thing outdoors in the Village Green Mosman, along with guest speaker Sam Webb – founder of ‘LIVIN’ - to discuss issues relating to mental health. LIVIN was founded to wipe out the stigma on mental illness and raise awareness for suicide prevention.
Bring your rugs and some nibbles, and if you’re feeling active, jump on a bike and help power the cinema. Fourth Village Providore will also be offering a special movie menu for the night.
Registrations are not essential but the first 30 will receive the use of a bean bag for the duration of the movie free of charge. Note: bean bags must be collected between 7pm - 7.30pm on the night and must remain on the Village Green at all times. Bean Bags will be collected by Council once the movie has finished.
In the case of wet weather this event will be held at Mosman Art Gallery.
