Out for Australia in partnership with Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo & Beyond is excited to present its first workshop in Bendigo.

About this event

Out For Australia warmly invites you to our first regional workshop event in Bendigo for 2021, Out For Success: How to Bring your Confident Self to Work.

In collaboration with Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo & Beyond, Out for Australia is aiming to deliver a day full of learning.

Coming out at work or navigating your career as an LGBTQIA+ person can be difficult. These challenges further increase when you identify as trans/gender diverse and are based in in remote location. As its OFA’s vision to promote being your authentic self, this workshop can focus broadly on the following objectives:

  1. To provide practical tips to the participants on how to traverse their professional workplace.
  2. Specify suggestions on how to be assertive to take back control of a workplace situation.
  3. Identify best approaches for the participants to voice their opinions to colleagues and managers.
  4. Develop techniques for better working relationships in the workplace after coming out at work.
  5. To come up with/and facilitate practices to create a LGBTQIA+ friendly workplace.

About our Facilitator: This workshop will be facilitated by Damien Munro. Damien is the Heal Your Life Teacher Trainer for Australia and New Zealand, author and contributor to magazines and online platforms. Qualified Kinesiologist, Nutritionist, Life coach and yoga instructor . Damien helps people discover the link between their mind, body, spirit and emotions.
