All proceeds raised will go directly to the Hobart Womens Shelter, who provide safe, emergency accomodation and support to women and children in need. This vital organisation makes a world of differnence to women and families who are doing it tough, but unfortunately due to limits in capacity and funding, over 170 calls still go unassisted each month. The shelter is in the process of expanding its capacity and all the money raised will go towards toys and other items for the children.

Special Guests

HYPNAGOG - Kinematic Records - (TAS/VIC)
https://soundcloud.com/hypnagog

Hypnagog is a musical project of Felix Greenlees aka Terrafractyl and Mental Extensions.
After years of writing Psychedelic dance music and experimenting with plenty of other sonic forms, Felix started to spend more time listening to downtempo, psychedelic breaks, IDM and the like. It was time to combine these styles with his own to create some kind of hybrid, beat driven, yet melodic sound. As the project has progressed, Felix has also been experimenting with a kind of jazzy progressive trance and has been working to combine these 2 styles into what could maybe be described as Psychedelic ProgStep. As always, his music is hard to describe and difficult to put into boxes and has been surprising and exhilarating audiences around the world for the past couple of years.
He has released two EP's on UP records , 'Dreaming in Pieces' (2009) and 'Gyroscopic Bebop'(2010) , and in 2012 another EP, ‘Infinite Vibrations’ on Adapted records. In 2014 we at Kinematic Records were very happy to present the debut Hypnagog album, 'Thematic Mathematics', available now. This album represents the last 3 years of Felix's Hypnagogical experimentation, all wrapped up and woven into an intricate and very unique 80 minutes of sonic vibrations. In 2015 Already a new release is underwork, this time an album of more downtempo relaxed sonic tapestries.... Stay Tuned!

SERA MARIE - (VIC)
https://soundcloud.com/sera-marie-dnb

Melbourne based DJ Sera Marie has proven to be a big favourite on the Melbourne bass scene. Her passion for DnB is clearly demonstrated in her sets through her mixing skills and impressive tune selection, she always delivers.

In the short space of two years she has been in high demand both in Melbourne and overseas. In addition to her residency at Free Dope Melbourne, Sera has played alongside ANT TC1 in Italy earlier this year, Drumbule in Germany, Smooth, Gerra & Stone, Break, Etherwood, Keeno, Royalston, Danny Byrd, Matrix & Futurebound, Aphrodite, Stanton Warriors and Neonlight and will travel to NZ later this month to play in Christchurch.

Sera's love for drum and bass ventures beyond the decks and she is currently working on a few beats of her own with a view to a future EP release.
