Learn through shared stories about the successes and challenges of creating homes that reflect the way we live today. This is a rare opportunity to engage with both the architects and clients behind two of Australia's best contemporary houses.
SPEAKERS
David Welsh, co-founder of Welsh + Major, will share the fascinating story behind Hush House, joined by client Kellie Hush, a fashion entrepreneur and journalist and former editor-in-chief of Harper’s BAZAAR Australia. The project is an adaptation of a two-bedroom Federation semi into a vibrant contemporary home for Kellie and her family.
Paul Owen, founder of Owen Architecture, will present Brisbane Riverbank House alongside his client Davin Lim, a cosmetic and laser specialist. The design creates two large courtyards by placing a new living pavilion next to the existing 1930s dwelling.
