Description

We are very excited to introduce the first-ever Össur Mobility Clinic on the Green in 2020. Join us in Melbourne on 20 January 2020 to learn the basics of swing dynamics, golf-specific warm-up techniques, and discover the physical and mental health benefits the game has to offer!

The Össur Mobility Clinic on the Green is designed for amputees of all ages and activity levels. Golfing professionals Mike Rolls & Geoff Nicholas will be introducing amputees to learn the sport of Golf and also providing an opportunity to network, optimise lifestyle and have fun with other amputees! The Mobility Clinic on the Green is also for amputee golfers who would like to enhance their skills.

To secure your attendance at the Össur Mobility Clinic on the Green, a $20 registration fee is required upon completion of the registration form. All proceeds from the Össur Mobility Clinic on the Green will be donated to Motivation Australia.

What is the registration fee for?

The Mobility Clinic on the Green is a non-for-profit event. The registration fee is to confirm your attendance at the Mobility Clinic on the Green. All proceeds will be donated to All donations will be donated to Motivation Australia, a not for profit, disability and development organisation that works with local organisations in the Asia Pacific Region.

Do family and friends have to pay/register separately?

No - only participating attendees are required to register and pay.

During the registration process, you can nominate the option to include family and friends who will be free of charge. If you are a healthcare professionals, please contact Kris Carroll on 02 8838 2800.


What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is plenty of on-site parking available at the venue.

How far is Metropolitan from the city?

The Metropolitan Golf Club is the closest Sandbelt Club to the Melbourne CBD.
The Club is approximately 30 minutes from the City by car, or 45-60 minutes from the Tullamarine Airport.

How do I get to the Golf Club from the city by car?

Travel east along the Monash Freeway/South Eastern Arterial. Take the Chadstone exit and turn right onto Warrigal Road. Turn left at North Road and right into Golf Road. The Clubhouse entrance is approximately 250 metres on the left.

How do I get to the Golf Club from the city by public transport?

Catch a train to Oakleigh station (Dandenong/Pakenham Line). Then take a taxi (cab) from the train station to the Clubhouse along Golf Road (5-minute drive).

What can I bring into the event?

A collard polo will be provided for all registered attendees. Please wear comfortable, golf sport appropriate clothing. Lunch and water will also be available for registered attendees throughout the day.

All guests are encouraged to pack light refreshments and lunch as we can only guarantee lunch for registered attendees.

What's the refund policy?

Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before your event start date.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, this is not required. You will need to register at the start of both days at the registration desk.
